DANIELLE COHEN

Danielle grew up in New York and received her Bachelors degree in Studio Art. In 2017 she moved to New Mexico for Graduate school. She graduated from Southwestern College in 2021 with a Masters in Art Therapy and Counseling.

Throughout her professional career Danielle has worked with children of all ages and in various settings as a Teaching Artist. Her background and passion for the arts along with her desire for helping people, has led her to where she is today. Danielle is grateful for her journey as an Art Therapist and Counselor and is excited to see where it will take her. Danielle has seen firsthand how providing children and families with a safe space to express, through using creative modalities, can be eye opening and allow for growth to take root.

Outside of the office, Danielle has a thirst for adventure and loves immersing herself in other cultures and learning languages, especially while traveling. Danielle is first generation American and has experience working with multicultural backgrounds. She has volunteered in schools and various settings in other countries working to support children and their families. Danielle loves learning and growing from each experience.
